Aroya Cruise unveils first cruise ship

Aroya Cruise, the first cruise line in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affiliated with Saudi Cruise Company, a wholly owned unit of the kingdom's sovereign wealth fund PIF (Public Investment Fund), has unveiled its debut cruise ship.
The Aroya Cruise ship is 335m long, has 19 decks and 1,682 cabins with innovative designs.
"Aroya Cruise' was launched in 2023, to meet the aspirations of the Arab markets, with a focus on providing distinctive experiences to travellers, said Saudi Cruise in a statement.
Starting with the innovative designs of cabins and suites, and event programmes suitable for different groups and ages, all the way to the utmost care in the quality of food and drinks that will be served during cruises, it reflects the spirit of innovation and authentic Arab hospitality that characterize Saudi Arabia, it stated.
Unveiling the new ship, Saudi Cruise CEO Lars Claassen said it was a proud moment for the group and also the kingdom.
"It represents another achievement for Saudi Cruise, and is part of our endeavours to establish a leading sector in the field of tourist cruises in Saudi Arabia," he stated.
The “Aroya Cruise” ship is scheduled to commence its trips from the city of Jeddah in 2024.-TradeArabia News Service
