World-renowned comic Dave Chappelle will perform at a sold-out show on May 23 at Etihad Arena – Yas Island as part of Abu Dhabi’s inaugural Comedy Week.

Produced by Live Nation Middle East, the leading entertainment company in the region, the show will officially be Middle East’s largest comedy show ever, promising a night of laughter and entertainment.

With more than 14,000 tickets sold, this show surpasses the previous record holder, Comedian Trevor Noah, when he performed at Coca-Cola Arena in October 2023. The show saw a full house with over 13,000 in attendance, and was also produced by Live Nation Middle East. 

Born in 1973, Dave has been in the comedy business for decades, starting at the age of 14 performing stand-up comedy at nightclubs before rising to fame and earning Emmy and Grammy Awards.

Today, he is a legendary figure in the world of comedy, known for his unmistakable witticism and his unique take on various social issues, especially in his satirical comedy sketch series, “Chappelle’s Show”.

Set to be held between May 18th and 26th at Etihad Arena - Yas Island, Abu Dhabi Comedy Week will be an Emirate-wide celebration of laughter.
