Finnish digital media firm expanding in ME market

Liana Technologies, a Finland based company specialized in marketing and communication technology, is now rapidly expanding in European, Asian and Middle-Eastern markets.
Local demand for the company’s marketing automation service has been strong and it has been able to maintain two digit growth for ten consecutive years, earning it several placements on the Deloitte Technology Fast list, said Samuli Tursas, the CEO and founder of Liana Technologies.
“Even though we’ve had strong growth for a long time now, we're just getting started,” he added.
The company is now serving over 3 000 corporate customers with over 10.000 end users and expects to add close to 1 000 new customers in 2016.
Key to the continued success has been the ability to provide a unique breadth of cloud based services by integrating marketing and PR tools with each other. Adapting to growth in a flexible manner has also been crucial in securing sustainable and consistent growth without sacrificing the agile culture of the company.
This consistency and the fact that companies are investing more on digital marketing every year have given Liana Technologies a fertile ground to grow and expand to new markets, said Tursas.
The company has formed subsidiaries in Dubai, Hong Kong, Berlin, Paris and Stockholm and works with well known international brands like Ikea, Toyota and Starbucks.
“Investments in digital are on the rise and as technology becomes more and more prevalent in marketing, we need to understand that the end users are now the marketers instead of the tech department,” said Tursas.
