Dubai first NFT, Crypto art show launches at Art Space
DUBAI, March 2, 2023
Art in Space Dubai, the first state-of-the-art digital art gallery in the region with permanent address in Dubai, launched another exhibition this week entitled ‘Digital Sensations’ - the first NFT and Crypto-centered exhibition in Dubai, in partnership with VerticalCrypto Art featuring the creations of Sensus Communis, Sutu and OSF.
Speaking about the project, Lorenzo Rosettani, CEO of Art in Space Dubai, said: “The future of art is right in front of our eyes and we are in so much excitement to be able to bring this new evolution and innovation in the art scene here in Dubai, the city of now. We hope to educate, and inspire more artists from Dubai, the Gulf and the Middle East region to explore the world of digital art and how this medium of art could lead us to the future.”
He added: “Art in Space has its home in Dubai, we are located in Boulevard Downtown Dubai, and we plan to continue to nurture the local artists and talents and expose them to the latest technologies and trends in the art scene globally. Expect bigger things happening in the coming months, hosting big names in the art scene,” Rosettani added.
Art in Space allows the creation of multi-sensory digital art experiences. It creates and manages the international association of artists and galleries IMAA network (Immersive Multisensory ART Association). It defends a new creative experience form, encouraging the spread of multisensory immersive art, art of senses, through marketplaces and art experiences (showcase, cultural mediations).
Art in Space is supporting artists with creative spaces (galleries and ateliers) opening all over the world. A real marketplace where to trade the art piece. The creation of a platform to meet and find professionals to create digital art and more.
The ‘Digital Sensations’ exhibition will be available for public viewing at Art in Space’s The Art room - a multisensory immersive area that stimulates and involves the 5 senses. The artist creates a work of art by combining video, audio, aromas, light effects, fog and temperature. Everything is automated by the centralized control system of the room or managed via Tablet. The space, if programmed, can be used for various multisensory artistic experiences.
‘Digital Sensations’, which seeks to expand the notion of art by presenting works that have been created specifically to be experienced on a multi-sensorial level, will be open for public viewing and experience till March 3. -TradeArabia News Service
