Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates honoured two renowned Emirati women filmmakers, Nora Bensahli and Eman Alsayed, to mark Emirati Women's Day, and paid tributes to their invaluable contribution to cinema.

The filmmakers showcased a selection of their films at an event held at the hotel’s private Vox Cinemas on August 28, which was attended by cinema directors, the top management and guests.

Nora Bensahli, a distinguished Emirati Film Producer and Director, screened films like The Diversion, Time's Up, United But Divided, and Lost At Home.

Eman Alsayed presented her creations such as The Choice, Blanket and Zakiya’s Moroccan Bath. Her short film The Choice has captivated audiences across numerous international festivals, while her script for Blanket earned her the prestigious Best Short Script award at the Dubai International Film Festival.

The event culminated in the screening of the selected films.
