'HITS NOT LAUNCHED FROM YEMEN’

Initial studies confirm attack weapons Iranian: report

RIYADH, September 17, 2019

Initial investigations and all operational evidences have confirmed that the weapons used in the attacks on the oil facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais in Saudi Arabia are Iranian weapons, a top official was quoted as saying in a media report.

“The terrorist attack was not launched from Yemeni territory as the Houthi militias claimed, whereas these militias are mere tools to implement the agenda of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and its terrorist regime,”  Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, was quoted in a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report.

Colonel Al-Maliki was speaking during the regular press conference of the Joint Coalition Forces Command in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He indicated that his department is working to complete these investigations, with all the results to be announced later.
