Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Passports has started to extend the validity of exit and re-entry visas of expatriate workers that expire between 25/02/2020 and 24/05/2020 for an additional period of three months free of charge. 

 

The extension includes expatriates working in commercial and industrial sectors inside the kingdom whose visas were not used during the period of suspension of entry and exit through the kingdom's ports, said a Saudi Press Agency report.

 

The directorate said the extension is done automatically without the need to go to passports headquarters, in cooperation with the National Information Center and the Ministry of Finance. The beneficiary can check his account on Absher platform to view the status.
