Saudi Arabia, Mauritius sign agreement on fisheries

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Blue Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries and Shipping of the Republic of Mauritius.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) aims at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of fishing, fisheries and fish farming, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
It also aims to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries, and to enhance cooperation, partnership and investment in the field of fisheries
The MoU was signed at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh by Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadley and Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Showkutally Soodhun.
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, during the last few years, has signed a number of memoranda of understanding and cooperation with many local and international bodies, with the aim of strengthening and supporting joint cooperation in the fields of environment, water and agriculture and in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
