Bahrain Government Plan focuses on five key priorities
MANAMA, December 21, 2022
Bahrain's government yesterday (December 20) revealed a roadmap outlining priorities for the government during the next four years.
A Cabinet meeting, chaired by Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, reviewed the 2023-2026 Government Plan.
The Cabinet discussed the plan's pillars, policies, and objectives which are aligned to the Designation Letter issued by His Majesty the King for His Royal Highness to form the government and His Majesty's opening speech of the first session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives, said a Bahrain News Agency report.
The Government Plan has been designed to accommodate the outcomes of the Future Aspirations Workshop and align with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. The plan has three priorities, 10 goals, and five main pillars, which are security, stability and fairness, economic recovery and sustainable development, and the quality of government services.
Following the Cabinet's approval, the Government Plan will now be referred to the Council of Representatives. His Royal Highness assigned the Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to present the plan to the council.
