Bahrain announces Eid holidays for public sector

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today (April 17) announced the Eid Al Fitr holidays for Bahrain's public sector.
A circular from HRH Prince Salman stipulates that the kingdom's ministries and public institutions will close on the day of Eid Al Fitr (which is likely to fall on April 20 or 21) and the following two days, reported BNA.
If any of the Eid days coincides with an official holiday, an extra day will be given in lieu, it added.
Earlier today HRH Prince Salman chaired the weekly cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace where the members extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the citizens of Bahrain and Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
