talabat, the region’s leading platform for everyday delivery, has announced the appointment of Moaiad Aqel as Managing Director.

 

Aqel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Jordan Applied University College of Hospitality and Tourism Education (JAU) and has over 17 years of experience in both the F&B and hospitality industries - his first experience in these industries involved managing restaurants for seven years at the Four Seasons Hotel Amman.

 

Commenting on the announcement, Jérémy Doutté, regional Chief Business Officer at talabat, said: “We are very excited to have Moaiad join our team as a Managing Director and we have full confidence in the skills he brings to the table. Bahrain is an important market for talabat, and we are keen on attracting the best talent to achieve our mission, with best-in-class regional and local teams on ground.”

 

Regional experience

In addition, Aqel has extensive regional experience within talabat, having initially joined talabat Jordan in 2015 and being a vital part of the journey to transforming the brand from iFood Jordan to talabat. 

 

He previously worked for talabat Saudi Arabia in the Sales Development department, and worked for talabat Qatar, where he contributed to increasing order rates by five times.-- TradeArabia News Service
