Al Wathba Concerts to hit the right note at Abu Dhabi festival
ABU DHABI, December 20, 2023
The Sheikh Zayed Festival, which is taking place in the Al Wathba region of Abu Dhabi until March 9, has introduced Al Wathba Concerts, for the first time this year, to add to the diversity of the event. The concerts season begins on December 23.
The concerts will present audiences with a constellation of Arabic music and singing stars, showcasing some of their best and some of the most popular work.
The concerts season will include heritage music, national songs, folklore shows and popular singing performances that will cater to all different tastes and cultures.
Saudi singer Khaled Abd Al Rahman will perform at the first concert, which will take place on the main festival stage from 9pm. Gates will be opening at 7.30pm. The top artist will belt out some of his most loved numbers to audiences.
Al Wathba Concerts will be held every Saturday alongside the many events that take place during the weekends, such as fireworks displays.
The Sheikh Zayed Festival’s events, activities and programmes cater to all age groups, multiple competitions, and shopping and dining experiences.
The festival is open from 4pm to midnight on weekdays and until 1am on weekends and public holidays. – TradeArabia News Service
