Saudi’s industry and mining system pavilion inaugurated at the World Defense Show (February 4 to 8) in Riyadh aims to showcase the ongoing industrial and mining transformation in the kingdom, promote investment opportunities in the sector, and provide essential data and information for global investors, a report said.

Saudi Press Agency said that Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, inaugurated on February 4, the pavilion that represented various Saudi authorities, including the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Saudi Geological Survey, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, the Saudi EXIM Bank, the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, the National Industrial Development Center, and the Saudi Mining Services Company Esnad.

Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs, Eng Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, along with several officials from the industry and mining sector, attended the inauguration.

The World Defense Show 2024 aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which targets the localisation of over 50% of the country's military and security expenditure by 2030, a statement said, adding, this milestone will foster the growth of the military industries sector, generating prestigious job opportunities for citizens
