Renowned Bahraini businessman Farouk Almoayyed has passed away, aged 80, following medical complications.

 

Born in 1944, Almoayyed held executive and top management positions in a number of leading Bahraini companies,a GDN online report said.

 

As the chairman and managing director of YK Almoayyed & Sons, he led the group's growth and expansion to become one of the most successful and fully diversified commercial organisations in Bahrain.
