DUBAI, October 19, 2021
Trackimo, one of the world’s leading IoT (Internet of Things) solution providers has launched a unique V16 emergency LED flashlight for vehicles that alerts its surroundings when in distress at the ongoing Gitex Global in Dubai.
The emergency LED flashlight combines Trackimo's IoT technology and is a simple and handy safety solution for both emergencies and daily use that provides peace of mind to drivers at all times. Trackimo is showcasing some of the world’s most unique tracking devices at Gitex.
This device aims to be a very useful tool for any kind of vehicle related emergencies on the road and the product provides good visibility, both during the day and at night. It is estimated that fatal and nonfatal crash injuries will cost the world economy approximately $1.8 trillion.
“Trackimo provides an added layer of protection by incorporating its technology with features like direct communication to first-responders, real-time location tracking, customized safe zones and alerts when vehicles enter or leave them, speed monitoring, analytical data and driver behaviour insights. Safety and peace-of-mind for our clients is what guides our efforts and if our technology is able to protect even one person from being unnecessarily harmed on the road - we've done our job," stated Shai Bar-Lavi, CEO of Trackimo.
This emergency LED flashlight magnetically attaches to the roof of the vehicle allowing the driver to notify those in their vicinity that the vehicle is in distress, without facing the dangers involved in stepping out onto the busy road. Furthermore, the waterproof and dustproof signal provides 360 degree vision of up to one kilometre.
“As per reports, each year, 1.35 million lose their lives on roadways around the world. Every day, almost 3,700 people are killed globally in crashes involving cars, buses, motorcycles, or trucks. Crash injuries are estimated to be the eighth leading cause of death globally for all age groups and the leading cause of death for children and young people 5–29 years of age,” added Amit Shaked, Chief Operating Officer, Trackimo.
“Spain has already introduced the V16 LED emergency lights by law and will eventually replace the traditional fluorescent triangles that require drivers to leave their vehicles in order to set up. We hope to see other government’s across the globe adopting this new safety feature for all its citizens and residents.”
Trackimo develops a leading cellular-based end-to-end IoT solution that allows people and businesses to stay connected to each other and to their belongings through real-time location tracking.
The company's advanced proprietary technology is backed by its range of tracking devices that are equipped with a unique chipset supporting an all-in-one 2G/3G/4G/Cat-M1 (fallback) as well as wi-fi and BLE connection that can carry any SIM card. As a result, the company enables tracking people, pets, luggage, shipments, drones, motorcycles, boats, cars, or remote-controlled objects possible on a real time basis. – TradeArabia News Service
