Specifically designed to meet the needs of smart cities, this system utilizes ground-installed sensors in parking spaces that detect the presence of vehicles. 

 

These sensors are connected to a mobile application that notifies the user whether the parking space is vacant or occupied, saving them time and effort in searching for available spots. 

 

This system aims to enhance the parking experience in the kingdom, simplifying and streamlining the user journey, it stated.

 

Additionally, traffic management authorities can utilize this system to detect vehicles in parking spaces and verify parking payments. It enables them to directly identify violators and take necessary actions, thereby increasing the efficiency and speed of traffic law enforcement.

 

ParkPoint said this step aligns with its continuous efforts to develop the transportation and parking sector by offering innovative solutions and digitizing the parking experience entirely.

 

The provided advanced technologies offer valuable data for parking monitoring, enabling drivers to access real-time information. This allows data-driven decision-making and optimal management of parking facilities, it stated.
