DUBAI, March 5, 2019
Prysmian Group, a global leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, is showcasing state-of-the-art technologies at Middle East Electricity (MEE) 2019, the electrical industry’s largest show in the Middle East, taking place in Dubai, UAE.
The event which opened on March 5 will run until March 7, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
Prysmian Group, on this occasion, is launching its new Prysun Solar cables, fully compliant with the applicable global standards; European standard EN 50618 and the more recently released international standard IEC 62930, which specify technical requirements for solar applications and ultimately protect users from substandard cables, said a statement.
Prysun Solar cables are designed for the interconnection of various elements in photovoltaic systems, including panel interconnection, between panels and string boxes or from string boxes to the inverter.
Prysun is the result of the synergies between the merger of Prysmian Group and General Cable with a global technology and know-how sharing to achieve the best answer for your solar cable needs.
In addition to Prysun, the group also offers complete cables solutions for solar applications including low-, medium- and high-voltage cables according to the most known standards of each region, as well as special cables for communication and control.
The group’s range includes also Tecsun and Sungen solar cables. Tecsun, the group’s premium brand made in Germany, has over 15 years of experience and more than 1,000,000 km installed. Tecsun only meets but also exceeds the requirements of EN 50618 and IEC 62930 and is designed for the roughest conditions including direct burial.
