Daikin, a leading global innovator and provider of advanced heating, ventilation, air conditioning,  and refrigeration (HVAC-R) products and solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications, showcased some of its innovative products at the Big 5 exhibition held recently in Dubai.

The main attraction for Daikin MEA at the show was the Modular Chiller Plant (MCP) solutions, which combines a chiller system, cooling tower, pumps and piping in a factory engineered, factory assembled package that also includes commissioning and after sales support.

The innovative system had been presented at the four-day event as an ideal solution to owners who are seeking an engineered solution or when space and construction schedules are restricted.

Now on its 40th year, the Big 5 show is now widely recognized as the biggest and most influential building and construction show in the Middle East region.

This year's edition attracted buyers and manufacturers of industry-related products from across the globe while also providing a diverse educational agenda and numerous high-level conferences.

Paolo Nascetti, VP Applied at Daikin MEA, said the Big 5 expo continues to be the ideal platform to present customers and industry professionals with the latest innovative products and solutions.

According to him, Daikin is traditionally renowned for the innovative HVAC products and technologies.

Daikin’s MCP solutions, he stated, were engineered for the demands of modern buildings and was highly flexible to accommodate potential expansion in the future.

"In addition, the modular system offers a pre-engineered design with single source responsibility--constructed in a controlled factory environment; reducing construction lead times and assembled and tested prior to shipping to site.
