The US has imposed sanctions on five Iranian nationals working as captains of an Iranian tanker, for delivering about 1.5 million barrels of Iranian gasoline and other related components to Venezuela.

 

A US Department of State statement said the continuous Iranian support for Venezuela is another example of Iran's squandering of its people's resources on wrong external adventures that prolong the suffering of Iranians.
