Qatar Petroleum has changed its name to QatarEnergy, highlighting its understanding of global changes and its response to the need to protect the planet and its environment, said the company’s president and CEO.

“Not only will our LNG projects bring additional cleaner energy to customers across the globe, but we will continue our heightened commitment to our central role in the global energy transition,” Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, also Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Affairs, was quoted as saying in The Peninsula report.
