Al Mahroos recognised as IPTC founding member

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Bahrain Section honoured Faisal Al Mahroos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Upstream, for being one of the founders of the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC).
"Al Mahroos is a leading figure in the oil and gas industry. His dedication and contributions span over decades and have been invaluable to the industry in Bahrain, the Mena region and the Eastern Hemisphere," SPE said in a statement.
Al Mahroos is a recipient of many awards at local, regional, and global arenas.
The IPTC was launched back in 2005 to provide a separate event for industry professionals in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Along with founders Nasser Al Jaidah, Mahmood Abdul Albaqi, and Dr Pinar Yilmaz, Al Mahroos recognised the importance of creating a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange in petroleum technology, setting a new standard for inclusivity and collaboration, while fostering innovation and networking among global professionals.
