Gas Arabian Services lands $203m Aramco EPC contracts

Gas Arabian Services Company, a leading turnkey contractor based in Saudi Arabia, has announced that it has received two (non-binding) letters of intent from Saudi oil major Aramco for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services contracts worth SAR761 million ($203 million).
As per the LOIs, Gas Arabian Services will provide EPC services for Aramco's Master Gas System Expansion (MGSE) from Shedgum to East-west Pump Stations-1 (EWPS-1), as well as the expansion of the Master Gas System network (MGS) in the East and Qassim Clusters.
The duration of the LOI will be 90 days from the date of signature, said Gas Arabian Services Company in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.
The Aramco win for the Saudi contractor comes close on the heels of its snapping another construction deal from Yamama Cement Company.
Early this week, Gas Arabian Services was signed up by Yamama Cement for procurement of metering skids, pressure reduction station etc and construction of gas pipelines.-TradeArabia News Service
