City Centre Bahrain welcomes back visitors to F&B outlets

MANAMA, October 22, 2020

City Centre Bahrain, a premier shopping, entertainment, and lifestyle destination in the kingdom, has announced the resumption of dine-in services at its over 60 food and beverage outlets.

The opening will be in line with precautionary and social distancing guidelines issued by Bahrain’s Executive Committee, a statement said. The authority had earlier announced that restaurants can resume operations from October 24.

Welcoming back its shoppers to experience a diverse range of culinary offerings, from Middle Eastern restaurants to international cuisines, cafes and fast food outlets, City Centre Bahrain has reorganised layouts of its Food Court dining facilities to adhere to social distancing norms, it said.

In addition to effective and frequent sanitization processes maintained across City Centre Bahrain and the Food Court, including the disinfecting of tables and chairs after being used by customers, acrylic dividers between the tables have also been adopted by some of the dining outlets, dining counters and sofas.

For dine-in at restaurants and cafes, customers will be advised on the permissible number of diners to minimise long queues as seating arrangements will be adjusted so that social distancing is maintained.

With a majority of City Centre Bahrain retailers introducing new technologies such as digital menus, QR codes and online payment platforms, customers are encouraged to engage in contactless solutions. Moreover, ensuring safety of all visitors, sanitizer stands are stationed at all gates while thermal cameras have been placed near the busiest gates for screening of visitors, it said.

Duaij Al Rumaihi, Mall Director at City Centre Bahrain, said: “We welcome the government’s directive about resumption of dine-in services. The safety of our customers, tenants and employees is our utmost priority and all necessary precautions are in place so that our visitors can shop and dine in a safe environment and enjoy our latest environmental simulation.”

Visitors are also invited to visit the ‘Food Rush’ stations at the mall and take part in an exciting food journey through a motion sensor experience with a chance to virtually grasp hundreds of food items and win instant prizes including City Centre gift cards and Food & Beverage vouchers.  – TradeArabia News Service
