Mondelēz appoints Ihab Rafik Amin as MENAP President

Mondelēz International has announced the appointment of Ihab Rafik Amin as President of its Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) Business Unit.
Amin joins MDLZ from Procter & Gamble (P&G), where he spent over 30 years in both P&G and Gillette, having held leadership and executive roles across USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. He brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in leading global, regional, local and multi-functional businesses across four continents in both developed and developing markets.

Leadership roles
Amin began his career working for Gillette in marketing and sales across local, regional and global positions in Egypt, Middle East and Africa as well as Europe in brand and category leadership roles. He also worked in global P&G Marketing leadership roles in the USA and Switzerland, covering multi-markets and categories across the world among them was Braun appliances.
He then moved into general management where he has led end-to-end multibillion-dollar businesses and delivered substantial growth, innovation and brand excellence, and successful business turnaround through organisational transformation and developing winning teams that drive sustainable results with excellence.
Most recently, Amin was the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of P&G’s business in Eastern Europe region based in Moscow. He was responsible for shaping the company’s corporate strategy and able to manage the business during the challenging times of the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
From the MENAP Business Unit, MDLZ serves more than 20 markets in the region and beyond, with around 3000 employees working across 7 plants and commercial offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco and Pakistan.--TradeArabia News Service
