Mazad hosts first e-luxury watch auction in Bahrain

Mazad, a local portfolio company of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, has announced the launch of a luxury watches auction on its platform - a first of its kind in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This milestone online auction will showcase a wide collection of rare, vintage, and contemporary timepieces from the world's most prestigious watchmaking brands, including Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and Vacheron Constantine.
According to Mazad, the auction will be conducted in several stages, with the first batch running until August 15, exclusively on its digital platforms.
"We are proud to host Bahrain's first-ever online luxury watch auction, which will provide regional collectors, enthusiasts, and investors a convenient and accessible platform to acquire some of the most coveted and exclusive timepieces," said Talal Alaraifi, CEO of Mazad.
"Following our success in the gold and natural pearl auction, the luxury watches come as a significant step in our journey to cement Mazad's position as the leading destination for luxury auctions in the region," he stated.
The auction will feature an expertly curated selection of rare and valuable watches that have been meticulously authenticated and appraised by watch experts horological experts.
A highlight of the e-auction will be the display of Rolex Daytona with Ruby & Metorite circa 2008 in pristine condition, a vintage Rolex Day-Date with Arabic Numerals and a rare Vacheron Constantin Overseas 'Zurich Boutique Edition.'
"Interested buyers can preview the collection, register, request for viewings, and place their bids through Mazad's user-friendly website and mobile app," stated Alaraifi.
According to him, users can expect to see more luxury items added to Mazad’s portofilio by the end of the year catering to the sophisticated tastes and preferences of the region's most affluent collectors and investors.
