Etihad Airways has launched a programme dedicated to offering unprecedented benefits and travel services to government employees across Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Government Employee Travel Programme, developed jointly by Abu Dhabi general services company Musanada and Etihad Airways, will offer a host of benefits specifically packaged to suit the needs of employees working for government and semi-government organisations.

These encompass not only special fares, enhanced frequent flyer benefits and priority ground services, but also tailored Etihad Holidays deals for personal travel.

James Hogan, Etihad Airways’ chief executive officer, said: “This is a hugely significant partnership, bringing together key organizations that have a common goal of ensuring the continued growth and success of Abu Dhabi and its 2030 master plan.”

“We expect the Abu Dhabi Government Employee Travel Programme to become an increasingly important part of our business, and will be working hard to ensure it offers the highest standards of service and the best value to one of our most important customer segments.”

Under this initiative, Etihad will work alongside its programme partners to simplify and enhance Government travel services, which includes simplified procedures and tailored services and benefits for employees to ensure the most seamless and rewarding travel solutions for all of their government-funded travel.

“This is indeed a welcome initiative which we were immediately ready to support given the benefits it will bring to our 200 plus staff,” said Khaled Al Hashemi, HR & Administration Director, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority which was the first to sign up to the new initiative.
