Man arrested for threatening to blow up Saudi flight

Passengers onboard a flight from Jeddah to Cairo on May 9 were in a state of panic when a man reportedly threatened to blow up the aircraft. said a report.
Security staff on the Flynas operated carrier had to subdue the 61-year-old man, who was said to be mentally unstable, and handed him over to police officials when it landed in the Egyptian capital, said a report in Reuters.
No weapons or explosives were found with him, the report said. The man told police he was not aware of what he had done. He is expected to be referred to a psychiatrist to determine his mental state.
