Etihad to cancel Tehran flights
ABU DHABI, December 19, 2017
UAE's Etihad Airways will be suspending flights to the Iranian capital, Tehran, from January 2018, it has emerged.
The decision, part of the airline's strategy review, will come into effect from January 24, said a report in Reuters.
Etihad’s five weekly flights to Iran’s capital will be reduced to two a week between December 25 and January 23, before it suspends the route entirely on January 24, said the report citing an airline spokeswoman.
Passengers booked to travel after then can switch to an alternative travel date between December 25 and January 23 or be refunded, the spokeswoman said.
