Dubai's Burj Khalifa to showcase new visual spectacle

The iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE is entertaining visitors to Downtown Dubai with another spectacular show on its new LED façade, the world’s single largest display surface.
A celebration of the marvels of technology and nature, the new shows presented daily - every 60 minutes from 6.15 pm until 10.15 pm on weekdays and every 30 minutes from 6.15pm until 10.45pm on weekends - offer another visual spectacle that will delight all.
The show titled, ‘Strides’ highlights the duality between innovative technology and the breathtaking beauty of nature. Through dynamic and organic movements of light on the LED panels, the display is a perfect symbiosis of technological sophistication and the vibrant surrounding environment of Downtown Dubai.
The show titled ‘Neon’ is an uplifting display, inspired by neon lights color flowing smoothly on Burj Khalifa to illuminate a magnificent structure in a youthful mood. Colours flow smoothly on the façade of the tower to illuminate the magnificent structure. From the bright colours in movement, new geometric patterns are created that will mesmerise audiences.
The shows highlight the tremendous possibility for visual displays offered by the new LED panels on the tower, which rises to a height of 828 metres (2,716.5 feet).
The 200-plus-storey Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable levels, the most of any building, is one of the world’s leading tourist attractions.
Burj Khalifa is also offering the opportunity for creative artists to showcase their work on the brand-new LED façade. Emerging designers and artists can compete by presenting their proposals and have their work displayed on the iconic structure’s façade. Submissions can be made individually or as groups by those in the UAE or from across the world.
The entry must be a five minute video in MOV format and the content must be created for a minimal viewing distance of 100 metres.
