MANAMA, April 11, 2019

Bahrain's national carrier Gulf Air has announced that it has cancelled its flight to Sudanese capital Khartoum following the military coup and the declaration of state of emergency in the North African country leading to closure of its airspace.

The flight GF 703 to Khartoum International Airport at 1am (local time) from Bahrain International Airport has been cancelled due to current developments in the country, said a statement from Gulf Air.

The flag carrier stressed that it will continue to monitor the situation very closely as the safety of its passengers and crew remain a top priority for the airline.-TradeArabia News Service
