Low-cost Indian carrier GoAir has launched daily non-stop flights from Dubai to Kannur, Kerala, the latest Middle East route following direct flights to Abu Dhabi and Muscat from the South Indian state.
Jeh Wadia, managing director, GoAir, said: “Our daily flights between Dubai and Kannur is a manifestation of GoAir’s vision for Dubai and specifically for the inbound Kannur market. Passengers will have the option to explore further connectivity to Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai."
"GoAir is India’s fastest growing airline and we see DXB as the logical extension of our operations. GoAir is delighted to work with Dubai International Airport and its management. I welcome aboard passengers from Kannur and Dubai. FlySmart, fly GoAir," he said.
GoAir has partnered with Al Naboodah Travel and Tourism Agencies for the Dubai operations. The Kannur to Dubai flight is priced at Dh335 onwards.
GoAir recently took delivery of its 51st aircraft, and going forward the airline will be adding at least one aircraft every month. That translates into more flights, more destinations and more smart options for the consumers.
