IATA's annual meeting postponed to October
BOSTON, March 17, 2021
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has announced the postponement of its 77th annual general meeting and World Air Transport Summit to October.
The event was originally scheduled to be held from June 27 to 29 in Boston. It will now be hosted by JetBlue Airways from October 3 to 5.
Announcing the change in the schedule today (March 17), Alexandre de Juniac, IATA’s Director General and CEO, said: "We believe that it is vital to do all we can to meet as an industry face to face."
"Doing so will affirm that airlines can safely connect the world, demonstrate our industry’s resilience, and confirm the inestimable value of in-person meetings, facilitated by aviation," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
