Dubai hotels' performance rises in August: STR

LONDON, September 13, 2021

Dubai’s hotel performance was up from the prior month, according to preliminary August 2021 data from STR, a leader in data benchmarking, analytics and marketplace insights for global hospitality sectors.
 
The occupancy rate in hotels in Dubai was at 58.4 per cent, lower than the pre-pandemic comparables from August 2019 of 67.9%. 
 
Average daily rate (ADR) was down from AED380.68 in August 2019 to AED373.61 ($101), while Revenue per available room (RevPAR) was at AED218.32, lower than the AED258.52 during the same period in August 2019.
 
However, Dubai has been one of the top performing global markets ahead of Expo 2020.-TradeArabia News Service
