Virgin Limited Edition, an award-winning collection of unique retreats, has appointed David Redouane Assabbab as the new General Manager of Sir Richard Branson’s luxurious Moroccan retreat, Kasbah Tamadot.    

From his Moroccan roots, to the British Virgin Islands, to Canada and back to Morocco, David joins Kasbah Tamadot with a wealth of knowledge and over 14 years of experience in the hospitality sector – not least, extensive experience within the Virgin Limited Edition collection having previously undertaken the role of Financial Controller on Necker Island.

David previously held the role of Financial Director at the luxury hotel.

Combining this international and multicultural experience with an overriding love of people and his home country, David will now lead the team at Kasbah Tamadot, which proudly recruits 100% of its staff from the surrounding villages.

The appointment comes as Kasbah Tamadot’s long-standing General Manager, Vincent Padioleau, embarks on a new adventure within the Virgin Limited Edition collection. Vincent is taking on the role of General Manager for the collection’s newest project, restoring a historic finca building into a brand-new luxury hotel on the stunning Son Bunyola Estate, in Mallorca, a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site, which alongside its existing three luxury villas. – TradeArabia News Service
