Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel, the only floating hotel in Dubai, has announced the appointment of Erwan Stadler as the new Executive Chef.

“We are excited to welcome Erwan to the QE2 Team. We are confident that with his Michelin-level experience, exceptional leadership, organization and impeccable skill set, he will further develop the food & beverage concepts and enhance the menus across all dining venues,” said Ferghal Purcell, General Manager.

As an Executive Chef, Erwan will oversee all restaurants, bars and banqueting, providing strategic direction to the hotel’s culinary team.

With over 23 years of experience, Erwan has extensive knowledge of the luxury restaurant and hospitality industry. Over his career span, he has held positions at many Michelin-starred restaurants, including one Michelin-starred Ulrichshole Restaurant, two Michelin-starred Hostellerie de Levernois and three Michelin-starred La Cote Saint Jacques. Erwan has also worked at luxurious hotels in various countries including Germany, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Seychelles, France, Thailand and Antigua.

Born in Brittany on the northwestern coast of France, Erwan is a graduate of Lycée Hôtelier Notre Dame. His zest for cooking was cultivated early as a young child helping his mother and grandmother prepare family meals.

“I am thrilled to be leading the culinary team at QE2 and I look forward to bringing my expertise and knowledge to this unique property,” said Erwan Stadler.

Guests can sample Stadler’s vision at the weekend dinner buffet at Lido Restaurant and the soon-to-be launched Royal Sunday Roast at The Queen’s Grill.

Prior to joining our team, his last assignment was with Movenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai, where he spent four years elevating the culinary offering, creating successful themed nights and upgrading the culinary standards of the hotel. – TradeArabia News Service
