Kempinski Mall of the Emirates appoints key sales official

DUBAI, December 21, 2022

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has appointed Zeynep Oden Agagil as its Executive Assistant Manager of Sales & Marketing, bringing with her over two decades of experience working with top hotels in Turkey, Bahrain and Dubai.

The Turkish native started her career at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul opening back in 2001, where she steadily progressed the ranks from Coordinator to Business Travel Manager in the sales field up until 2008. She then joined the iconic Ciragan Palace Kempinski where built her sales acumen/expertise as Director of Sales & Marketing until 2017.

Prior to her current role at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, Zeynep served as Commercial Director of Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain. In her several years with the Raffles brand, Zeynep developed as an opening specialist becoming the opening Director of Sales for Raffles Istanbul from 2013 to 2015 and Cluster Commercial Director at Raffles Dubai & Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk from 2017 to 2021. In her last year, she was instrumental in developing the commercial strategy of Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain re-branding project.

Speaking about her new position at the Kempinski Hotel Mall of Emirates, she said: “I have long admired the Kempinski brand and honoured to step into this exciting role. Zeynep holds a degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Ankara University as well as a graduate degree in Tourism Design and Management from the Istanbul Technical University.

In her new role, Zeynep will be responsible for maintaining the outstanding market positioning of the hotel, developing the overall commercial strategy and further increasing the hotel market share.
