Five Hotels and Resorts has appointed Enrique Mandl as the General Manager of Five Luxe in Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR), Dubai.

 

With 19 years of experience leading some of the foremost hospitality destinations around the globe (including Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, the first Nobu hotel in Europe as General Manager - and Oku Ibiza as the COO and General Manager), Mandl will spearhead the management of recruitment and operations for the prime beach property.

 

Five Luxe, set to open in Q4 2023, boasts 222 hotel rooms and suites and 275 opulent residences, several culinary and nightlife venues, ReFIVE Spa, indoor and outdoor (beach) gym, an iconic Social Pool, private beach and a paddle tennis court. 

 

The entire property showcases uninterrupted sweeping sea-views and glittering scapes of the Dubai Eye and Palm Jumeirah. 

 

From 2018, Mandl steered Lío Ibiza, one of the most successful luxury restaurant, cabaret and club concepts in the world, cementing his instrumental role in Lío’s global success. Soon, Lío Dubai’s VIP experiences will exemplify the best in experiential entertainment for a cosmopolitan clientele at Five Luxe.  Mandl will once again take the helm of this alternative epicurean reality along with Five Luxe’s bouquet of amenities that will encompass soon-to-be-announced homegrown dining and entertainment venues as well as a social pool and beach club in signature Five flair, said a statement.
