Flyadeal jet lands in Madinah with 328 Indian pilgrims

Flyadeal, the economic arm of the Saudi Airlines Group, said it was given a grand welcome in Madinah when its first flight from India landed with 328 pilgrims, reported SPA.
The pilgrims were received at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah by a number of officials from Air Flyadeal and representatives of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), in addition to a number of officials of the government and private sectors operating at the airport.
Flyadeal, a budget airline owned by Saudi flag carrier Saudia, began its operation six years back serving domestic destinations. It mainly caters to domestic travellers, Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and other tourists.
CEO Con Korfiatis, while expressing delight at the arrival of the first batch of pilgrim, said the airline plans to fly in more than 35,000 pilgrims on its 182 international flights this Hajj season.
