Anantara has unveiled its latest masterpiece – a 25 metres new adults-only infinity pool in its Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, Abu Dhabi.

The infinity pool is the latest development in this resort that is preparing to welcome guests in November, as it continues to elevate itself as a unique and tranquil Arabian getaway.

In addition to the breathtaking surroundings and direct sunset views from the pool, an experiential food and beverage menu featuring signature drinks will be served, complemented with lounge music.

Nestled within the vast expanse of the Empty Quarter, one of the world’s largest uninterrupted sand deserts, this new addition will offer guests unparalleled views of the flame-coloured dunes, adding a fresh dimension to the majestic palace’s exceptional collection of the main pool and 53 private pool villas.

Designed to absorb the region’s distinctive custom, the interiors of every suite and villa are inspired by the simple grandeur of an old desert fortress and boast locally hand-crafted furnishings. Guests can immerse themselves in rich carpets and embroidered fabrics which evoke ambient warmth and an inescapable sense of romance, said a statement.

Diners can experience a plethora of restaurants across the resort. Cosmopolitan dining against breath-taking natural backdrops can be found at rooftop bar and restaurant, Suhail – a spectacular spot for sundowners and enjoying the finest grills under the stars, while Middle Eastern and international delights await at Al Waha.

Part of the poolside experience, Ghadeer offers relaxed dining during the day and which transforms into a candlelit retreat with a global menu in the evening. Naseem Pool Bar offers relaxed daytime dining, and tea, coffee, whilst fine snacks are served at Al Liwan lobby lounge.

For a traditional Arabic experience amongst the sand dunes of the Liwa Desert, complemented with starry skies, and the flickering light of the bonfire, Al Falaj welcomes guests to a traditional Bedouin setting. The menu features a selection of mezzeh, roasted whole lamb, Arabian mixed grill and Arabic sweets handmade by Qasr Al Sarab’s own Oriental pastry chef.

On the other hand, Dining by Design is considered as one of the most romantic and charming experiences, perfect to celebrate a special occasion in the sand dunes.
