Movenpick offers pet-friendly hospitality in RAK resort
RAS AL KHAIMAH, November 1, 2023
Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island has introduced its pioneering Furry Friends Initiative, underscoring the resort’s dedication to creating inclusive experiences for families and their pets, and revolutionising the concept of pet-friendly hospitality on the Marjan Island.
This ground-breaking initiative, a response to the growing demand for pet-inclusive travel experiences in the United Arab Emirates, positions the resort as the very first on the island to help pets become a part of the holiday experience.
“Recognising that pets are cherished members of the family, Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island seeks to create an all-encompassing environment where guests and their four-legged companions can enjoy the serene beauty of Ras Al Khaimah without compromise,” a statement said.
Under the initiative, Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island is offering 14 dedicated rooms, including deluxe rooms and private chalets with pools, exclusively designed to accommodate cats and dogs. To ensure comfort for all, the rooms designated for this initiative will accommodate maximum of two cats or dogs per room, with a combined weight of up to 35 kg.
In addition to these specially appointed rooms, pets will have their own dedicated spaces, including a designated beach area and ‘Boons’ terrace, where they can bask in the tranquil atmosphere with their owners, said the statement.
Guests who book under the pet-friendly initiative will receive a map outlining the designated pet friendly areas. Additionally, all cats and dogs must be under the supervision of their owners while within these zones.
The resort offers a range of amenities, including on-site pampering kits, washable beds, super-soft blankets, food and beverage bowls, welcome treats, and toys. Furthermore, Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island provides cat and dog-friendly soaps and towels.
The resort's unwavering commitment to providing the utmost comfort for both guests and their furry companions serves as a testament to its mission to redefine hospitality in the UAE, the statement added. TradeArabia News Service
