Bahrain's national carrier Gulf Air held a special ceremony to celebrate its winning the prestigious Apex Major Airline Award for the second time and also acknowledging the role of its employees and their outstanding efforts and dedication. 

 

The Bahraini airline clinched the ‘Five Star Major Airline’ award from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (Apex) at the Dubai Airshow 2023 held recently.

 

Lauding the workforce, Gulf Air CEO Captain Waleed Al Alawi, said: "The Apex award serves as a testament to Gulf Air's unwavering commitment to consistently delivering exceptional service and etting new benchmarks."

 

Al Alawi commended the outstanding efforts and dedication of each member of the Gulf Air family and urged them to continue striving for excellence in the aviation industry, each within the respective scope of work.

 

Gulf Air has been recently recognized by Apex Ratings, which are created based on neutral, third-party passenger feedback and insights, among 35 global airlines that received the Five-Star Award out of 600 airlines worldwide.

 

One of the first commercial airlines established in the Middle East, the Gulf Air currently operates scheduled flights from its hub at Bahrain International Airport to over 40 cities in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Indian sub-continent and the Far East.-TradeArabia News Service
