Wellness festival in Abu Dhabi lines up top speakers and artists

The first-ever Kayan Wellness Festival presented by Burjeel Holdings is set to take place from April 17 to 21, and will offer a blend of meditative group sessions, holistic therapies, music performances, and insights from renowned global wellness experts.
Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) in collaboration with Linkviva, the event marks Abu Dhabi's emergence as a wellness destination, a statement said.
Set against the backdrop of Al Fahid Island, the festival will offer contemporary and traditional wellness practices that will be complemented by breathtaking sunset and beachside views.
Guests can explore an array of eco-friendly and ethically made products, from active wear to home care and bags, at the Wellness Boutique.
The festival promises rejuvenating and transformative experiences that prioritises holistic personal growth. Seven zones or ‘Wellness Valleys’ will aim at nourishing mind, body, and soul through inspiring talks, waterfront yoga and breathwork classes, alongside wellness sessions for children.
Alo Valley
An open-air space dedicated to live talks and musical performances, Alo Valley will see global speakers and renowned artists such as Sadhguru, Dr Shefali, Amy Purdy, Mo Gawdat, and Gary Brecka share their insights on human resilience, consciousness and self-reflection, alongside melodies by Nessi Gomes and more.
Flow Valley
Explore rotating expert-led meditation and movement sessions that nourish body and soul. Led by experts like Manish Pole and Lisa Narvaez, alongside Melissa Ghattas, Lina Nahhas, and Laura Weston, each class is a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
Flow Valley also offers sessions by local health and fitness hubs Energy Camp and DISC for a well-rounded schedule covering yoga, deep stretch, breathwork, flow and dance.
Zen Valley
With poetry and music performances, Zen Valley is a unique blend of local traditions and ancient wellness practices.
Visitors can enjoy performances from the soulful Layla Kardan, Emirati holistic wellness expert Khawla bin Thani, and Rooftop Rhythms, a UAE-based cultural and arts-based initiative.
Hear talks by renowned guest speaker Omar Samra – the first Egyptian to climb Mount Everest – and revel in an inspiring performance by Sikh devotional singer Manika Kaur.
Inspiration Valley
Transformative and eye-opening dialogue and personalised sessions await guests at Inspiration Valley. Engage in “campfire” and breakout talks with renowned guest speakers, including health advocate and cancer survivor Ramy Naouss, influential Arab entrepreneur behind Injaz Egypt Dina El-Mofty, and Jurgis Didžiulis, whose keynotes explore collective flow and consciousness.
Harmony Valley
Harmony Valley offers rejuvenating coaching across sound healing and breathwork, singing circles, frequency reading and bio-hacking, with dedicated women-only discussions on the schedule. The festival is collaborating with wellness partners Zarine, Andre Kunkel, and Fleur De Liz to offer transformative practices to restore balance and promote inner harmony.
Kids Valley
For children aged 6 to 12 years, the Kids Valley offers an exciting escape with engaging and immersive wellness activities and practices. From meditation and affirmation-based arts and crafts to yoga, this zone ensures parents and children can reap the rewards of artistic exploration and personal transformation.
Foodies Valley
The Foodies Valley will curate a wide range of healthy, homegrown F&B brands that balance ethically sourced ingredients with sustainable practices, from plant-based plates to organic ingredients. – TradeArabia News Service
