Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, attached to The Avenues, Kuwait’s largest retail, entertainment, and luxury lifestyle destination, has appointed a new director to enhance the luxury wellness experience of its guests.
With over 13 years of experience in the spa and wellness industry, NI Ketut Candra, Director of Spa and Wellness, said: “I am deeply honoured and thrilled to embark on this wellness journey as the Director of Spa and Wellness at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait.

She has extensive knowledge of mind and body wellness to create a constructive environment that fosters sustainable improvements and whole-body healing.
Candra started her first career as a Wellness Therapist in Bali, before moving on to multiple flagship luxury hotel spas across the globe.
Her passion for holistic healing combined with the latest wellness innovation technology to achieve maximum result in less time was a catalyst in her career growth, taking her to becoming the Spa and Wellness Manager St. Regis Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi.
Prior to her role at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, Candra was the Group Director of Spa and Wellness Lily Beach Resort Maldives.
Candra said that the Waldorf Astoria Spa in Kuwait has achieved the highest level of service and standards, positioning itself as the best spa in Kuwait and among the world's elite spas.
Waldorf Astoria Kuwait was honoured with the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award for the hotel. Additionally, the Waldorf Astoria Spa has received Five-Star Rating.
