Hospitality veteran to lead Marriott’s Sindalah property

Marriott International has appointed a Cluster General Manager to lead its upcoming portfolio of properties within the Sindalah Island project by NEOM – a luxury destination under construction in Tabuk Province, Saudi Arabia.

Belal Al Kadry holds nearly 25 years of hospitality experience across the Middle East with Marriott International, and has driven exceptional results through delegations, extraordinary events and conventions with iconic properties such as Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha and Sheraton Grand Doha Resort.

“Belal brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we are delighted to have him lead our portfolio at Sindalah Island,” said Ahmed Hozaien, Area Vice President – Saudi Arabia, Bahrain & Egypt, Marriott International.

The four distinctive lifestyle hotels are to welcome the global yachting community, golf enthusiasts, underwater explorers and visitors seeking the epitome of luxury.

This new destination is where pristine nature harmonises with sustainable design, cutting-edge technology, and inspiring architecture, a statement said.

The island amenities include a world-class golf club with 9 holes and 18 teeing points, a beach club, a diving centre to explore more than 1,100 species of marine life, and a luxurious yacht club along with a high-end retail hub of over 50 outlets overlooking a stunning marina.

The island will also offer 38 culinary experiences to residents and guests, including venues backed by world-renowned chefs from Michelin star restaurants.

Marriott’s portfolio of properties on Sindalah will comprises a 70 key Luxury Collection Resort; a 66 key Autograph Collection Resort; a 115 key Luxury Collection All-Suites Hotel and a 218 key Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy. – TradeArabia News Service
