The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai has been named #23 in the global ranking of The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024. This architectural masterpiece, imagined by Foster + Partners, features sophisticated interiors designed by the renowned Parisian duo Gilles & Boissier.

Following a successful debut in 2023, the second edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels has been announced at a captivating awards ceremony (September 17) at the historic Guildhall in London, and included industry-defining hotels from across six continents worldwide.

A much-anticipated destination, The Lana – Dorchester Collection’s first hotel in the Middle East – opened its doors on February 1, 2024.

The Lana offers 225 luxurious rooms and suites. Guests can indulge in eight distinct dining concepts, four of which have been created in collaboration with three of the world’s most celebrated chefs: Martín Berasategui, Jean Imbert, and pastry Chef Angelo Musa.

The Lana is also home to the first Dior Spa in the UAE, which opened in April 2024.

The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024 was revealed as part of a live countdown from No.50 to No.1. The ranking is complemented by a host of special awards and reflects the very best travel experiences around the globe, collated from the votes of 600 anonymous experts.
