Istanbul-based Pegasus Airlines has introduced a groundbreaking innovation to enhance passenger experience with AI-generated multilingual announcements, with this new feature debuting on the Seville, Spain, route, recently.

From October, flights to Spanish, Arabic, and Russian-speaking countries will feature announcements in the local language following the English version.

The project was developed by the Pegasus Innovation Lab, established in Silicon Valley to drive technological advancements in aviation. The system uses AI to clone the voices of Pegasus captains, delivering  announcements that include flight information, weather updates, and the captain’s name.

“This initiative allows us to offer a personalised flight experience, addressing guests in their native languages,” a Pegasus spokesperson said.
