Beautyworld Middle East opens at Dubai World Trade Centre

Beautyworld Middle East 2024, the region’s largest international trade show for the beauty and wellness industries, will see the participation of 2,000 exhibitors and more than 70,000 visitors when it gets underway at Dubai World Trade Centre from October 28-30.
This year’s show that was inaugurated by Hessa Bu Humaid, UAE’s Minister of Community Development, will feature international and local brands, in addition to all new innovations and products across 16 halls.
Bu Humaid said: “It is an honour to open Beautyworld Middle East which has become a highlight of the calendar in the region and provides an educational, inspirational and community-led meeting point for beauty, fragrance and wellness professionals.
“I am delighted to see so many new international exhibitors here which is a testament not only to the growth of the exhibition, but also to Dubai’s commitment to bringing innovation and cross-industry collaborations to the world,” said the minister, who visited various areas of the show, notably the Nazih Group stand, the Armaf stand, and the Emovation Lab.
The 28th edition of Beautyworld Middle East is set to attract representatives from 68 countries.
The three-day programme at Dubai World Trade Centre offers beauty lovers and insiders access to nine of the industry’s fastest-growing segments: fragrance; cosmetics and skincare; hair, nails and salon supplies; personal care and hygiene; beauty tech; supply chain and services; Clean + Conscious; Prestige Pack; and the newest category ‘Beauty Beginnings’ – a dynamic zone designed exclusively for emerging startups and SMEs in the beauty sector entering the MENA region for the first time.
Attendees can look forward to show favourites including Front Row by Nazih – a series of high energy live demonstrations and expert presentations; the much-loved nail artistry competition Nail It! By Nazih Group; Signature Scent where international fragrance houses come together to create their own interpretations of the essence of Beautyworld Middle East; and Quintessence – an exclusive stage dedicated to niche fragrances.
Delving into the current state of the beauty industry and analysing its future growth, the Next in Beauty Conference promises to bring together great minds and thought leaders from the industry to discuss trending topics, insights and challenges.
On October 28, ‘Next in Beauty’ keynote speaker TV star, beauty entrepreneur, makeup artist and brand ambassador, Joelle Mardinian, delivered the address. With over 21 million followers on Instagram and named as one of the world’s 500 most influential Arabs by Forbes, Mardinian was in conversation with Nezha Alaoui, CEO of Women Choice.
Amongst the discovery zones will be the all-new Beauty Beginnings experience which focuses on introducing 18 new brands into the MENA region, and the debut of beautyLIVE – a stage dedicated to live hair and make-up demonstrations and home of the Arabian Colour Fiesta by Goldwell. – the largest hair colour competition in the GCC.
