Air Expo Abu Dhabi 2024 is set to host the inaugural Middle East Aviation Careers (MEAC) Trade Show and Conference from November 19 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec). It said it aims to inspire and develop the next generation of aviation professionals.

The career fair will feature more than 40 flight training schools, top companies, and industry experts. Participants will gain insights into career pathways in airlines, cabin crew, pilot training, airport management, engineering, and more.

The Middle East is rapidly becoming a global aviation hub. The region’s strategic location and heavy investment in aviation have increased the demand for skilled professionals. The MEAC event aims to meet this demand by connecting aspiring professionals with employers and training institutions.

According to Airbus' Global Services Forecast, the commercial aircraft services market in the Middle East will more than double by 2042, reaching $28 billion.

This growth will require 208,000 new professionals, including 56,000 pilots, 52,000 technicians, and 100,000 cabin crew members.
