Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, has received the APEX Five Star Global Airline award, marking a major milestone in its transformation journey that encompassed continues improvement in customer experience and fleet modernisation.

The award was presented to Gulf Air Group chief executive officer (CEO) Jeffrey Goh by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) at the Future Travel Experience event in Singapore, held from November 18 to 20, 2024.

“This award is a testament to the transformation journey of Gulf Air,” said CEO Jeffrey Goh.

“The airline is very focused on its network connectivity proposition and delivering excellent customer experience.

“It is a continuous effort of improvement, but this recognition by the Airline Passenger Experience Association is an important confirmation of the work that the team at Gulf Air is doing to improve customer service.

“Above all, we thank our customers for their vote of confidence in the airline and for their loyalty.”

The APEX Official Airline Ratings are determined solely by verified passenger feedback, underscoring the significance of this honour.

Gulf Air’s achievements include fleet modernisation, improved cabin features, and innovative digital services, all aimed at exceeding customer expectations.
