Aiming to shore up its distribution network in the region, Ace Ceiling Products, an access ceiling products designer and manufacturer, will be setting up its stock-holding and distribution facility in Dubai this month (February).
The company is also gearing up to launch two new types of access panels that are enhanced versions of similar existing models.
Established in 1978, Ace is a well-established and highly-regarded UK firm producing a comprehensive range of products to suit the requirements of architects, designers and specifiers involved in design-and-build projects.
Commenting on the new developments, Dominic Such, director at Ace, says: “We are all very excited about the significant developments taking place at Ace. I, along with a senior colleague will be travelling to Dubai to finalise our new facility plans in February, which will boost our distribution network for the entire region as well as the Far East, offering our customers the speed of delivery and quality of service that they have come to expect from us. Also, we are eagerly awaiting the launch of our new panel ranges, as we feel there are so many new benefits they can offer our customers.”
Ace’s new-generation standard access design panel – which will be launched in April – is a far improved version of its previous model, and offers a range of additional benefits. This fire-rated range will come in multi-door units or single door units (up to 1,800 mm by 900 mm) with features such as multi-lock type options. It will be also available in larger sizes for custom-built applications.
“Our access panels come with a standard budget locking system, while other locking methods are available. Each panel is fitted with a spring loaded hinge pin at the rear, enabling doors to be lowered safely. Whilst in their open position, all doors can be removed to give 100 per cent access.”
Ace’s standard product line also includes a door range that suits drylining walls and partition systems. The company has had a good track record in the Gulf region, having successfully executed a number of prestigious projects, including the Atlantis Hotel, Wafi Hotel, Index towers, Dubai Festival City, Kempinksi Mall of the Emirates and the Emirates airline’s headquarters. It also received some serious enquiries during the Big 5 show in Dubai last year.
